About Me
I currently live in New York City, however I grew up in Nebraska. I enjoy reading and video games, also coffee.

I started off my web design exploration, as any child of 90s would. After school building Geocitites pages. I moved from that new career path to collage where I got a degree in history and a minor in American Sign.

After collage I did a year in Americorps in a Hmong outreach program. Then worked as a American Sign Employment Counslor for the Disabled. I worked with people with all kinds of disiablites please click the button below to read more about this work.
After the bootcamp I started to teach myself UX/UI desigh as it relates to accessibity. I have worked as a STEM program manger in Harlem, taken a corse in UX design from Fashion Institute of Technology. I also I have finished a course at NYU in UX & Emerging Interaction Design were I learned to design for tools that included VR, AR, hiptis, Sound Design, and the imporents of incorporating accessibity into design from the start.
I currently work as a UX/UI tutor and TA for University of Minnesota, while also managing freelance contracts. I stay up to date on accessibity trends in tech and take courses online in tech related subjects.
